Every time our volunteers visit Kenya to provide medical care it is always emotional as we are constantly blown away by just how many people are in desperate need of medical help in Kenya.
Our trip to Kenya in on our latest trip August/September 2016 was no different. We met so many different people who needed immediate, and in some cases expensive, medical care.
The past 5 months has been challenging times due to the strike action of Kenyan physicians. This resulted in significant delays for our patients awaiting surgery or other medical procedures. The 100-day strike action ended on March 15th, 2017.
Below are some of the people who are still waiting on funding so they can receive life-changing medical care.
