Ann

Anne is Zac’s older sister, she was being looked after by the same neighbour but her care was also poor. Although Anne was 11 yrs old she was small for age and only in baby class at school . We believe Anne was being used as the slave to do the work for the family that was looking after her. Anne had been out getting firewood in the forest and had a large splinter of wood go into her foota number of weeks previously.  This wound had become severely infected and the infection had spread to the bone. Anne was admitted to hospital and had surgery to remove the infection from the bone and many weeks of intravenous antibiotics with great results. Anne and her sister are now in an orphanage/ boarding school and both are doing really really well.
