About Us

Kenya Health was founded by Lyle Burgoyne, a registered nurse and midwife from Murwillumbah, NSW. We are an organisation dedicated to providing health care to women and young children in Kenya. However, our caring volunteers will see anyone present at our clinics. These people otherwise have very limited access to medical care. Our aim at Kenya Health is to provide medicine, medical treatment and education to help these people achieve better health.

Voices from Our Community

Hear from donors, volunteers and community members who have experienced our impact firsthand

"Coming to Kenya to volunteer with Kenya Health was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Every donation, whether in funds or supplies, goes directly to where it’s needed most – I saw it firsthand. The transparency and commitment of the team inspired me to not only give my time, but also to continue supporting from home and return. This isn’t just volunteering – it’s joining a cause that truly helps lives."

Registered Nurse, NSW

"The accommodation exceeded my expectations – clean, comfortable, and a real sense of community. After each clinic day, we’d come together to cook, share stories, and plan for the next day. The staff made us feel safe and at home, and the location gave us a taste of local life while still providing everything we needed to rest and recharge."

Ken B., Volunteer & Donor

Ex Paramedic, NSW

"Volunteering with Kenya Health was life-changing. The mobile clinics we ran reached communities that often have no access to regular medical care. We worked alongside local health professionals to provide check-ups, vaccinations, and essential medicines. Seeing the gratitude on people’s faces made the long days completely worth it. The work was challenging, but knowing we were making a real difference kept us going."
