Umbilical Hernia

This young boy is the second youngest in a family of 15 children. He has a large umbilical hernia as can be seen in this photo. Umbilical hernias are very common in Africa but most are only small. Kenya health organised for a surgeon to do a very successful repair of this hernia and it has healed well.
